FAREWELL ADAM!
As many of you know, our beloved bass player Adam Vander Poel will be moving to India in just a few short days. While we could sit around, mopeing about our friend leaving, we've decided to turn lemons into lemonade...or whatever the Indian equivalent of that may be.
On Thanksgiving Eve Wednesday, 11/23/11, watson will be sending off Adam & his wife Lori in style. Come join us a Kieran's Irish Pub in downtown Minneapolis for a night of great music. Doors open at 8pm and music starts at 9pm. We'll be playing a special acoustic opener, followed by a full on rock set. Then, The Straight 90s, (Adam's all 90s cover band) will play out the remainder of the night. There is a $5 cover, but if you wear red in honor of AVP, then you get in for $3!
And if sending off Adam, 2 sets of watson music and a set from The Straight 90s isn't enough for you, we're sweetening the deal by making this a CD RELEASE SHOW! That's right, we've completed our 3rd full length studio album. The new album, titled "Turn Up The Distance," is a collection of 13 tracks written and recorded by watson. We will be playing all the tracks at the 11/23/11 show so it's bound to be a memorable night.
